MEGA JOB FAIR

Thank you for participating in the MEGA Job Fair that will be held on August 29th from 4-7 PM at the Simi Valley Town Center (former Macy's - 1657 Simi Town Center Way).  We have a large number of businesses registered for the event and are expecting a large crowd of job seekers as well.  We truly hope that this event puts you in touch with amazing new employees for your business. 
 
Below is important information regarding the event: 
 
Arrival, Set-up and Parking:
  • The event will be held inside in the former Macy’s building on the East side of the Simi Valley Town Center. The entrance for the Job Fair will be through the set of glass doors that face the parking lot.  We will have a banner and balloons at the entrance.   You can park in any of the spaces in that area of the Center. 
  • Table setup begins at 3:00 PM. Please be set up and ready to meet your candidates by 3:45 PM. (Please no arrivals prior to 3:00 PM). 
  • When you arrive, please check in at the registration table where you will be provided with: 
    • A Tent Card Sign with your company name on it  
    • A “Now Hiring For...” sign for your table (you can fill in the available positions) 
    • A tablecloth (if you requested one when you registered online)
 Table Information:
  • All tables will be inside the building and will be assigned in sections on a first-come, first-serve basis.  
  • Each employer will be provided with one 6’ table, a chair (if you need more than one let us know) , a name plate for your table, and a sign for you to display the positions you are hiring for. If you requested a tablecloth, it will be provided upon check in. 
  • Please stay within your space and be sure that any pull up banners or signs are not blocking the booths next to you. 
 Breakdown: 
  • Please do not break down your table prior to 7:00 PM.  
 Interview Areas: 
  • There will be an area designated for onsite interviews. These tables are available at a first-come, first-serve basis.  
  OTHER:
Electricity: Access to electrical plugs is VERY LIMITED. If you require electricity, please arrive right at 3pm to secure a spot, and bring an extension cord. 
Trash: Please take any trash with you at the end of the event.
Restrooms:  Restrooms are located in the former  “food court” outside by Huarache Express restaurant on the west side of Macy's.  


 If you are no longer able to participate in this event, please let us know as soon as possible.
