ADVOCACY For Our Business Community

The Simi Valley Chamber's Legislative Advocacy Forum reviews City, County, Sate and Federal legislation and analyzes its impact on business. The committee meets monthly to provide update on legislation the Chamber has taken action on and to hear from legislative representatives and government agencies that represent Simi Valley. The committee meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 8:00 AM and is open to all Chamber members.
The Chamber participates in weekly conference calls with CalChamber, regular conference calls with the U.S. Chamber, and sends a delegation to Sacramento each year to lobby for business. In addition, the Chamber hosts a Candidate Forum during election years to provide the business community with an opportunity to hear from the candidates. The Chamber has been awarded the CalChamber President's Circle Award every year since 2012, which recognizes Chambers for excellence in advocacy and helping their members comply with employment laws.
