The California Chamber of Commerce (CalChamber) is a non-profit business advocate and HR compliance resource for California Employers. CalChamber is the largest broad-based business advocate to government in California, working at the state and federal levels for policies to strengthen California.
CalChamber works together with local chambers of commerce, including the Simi Valley Chamber, to advocate for business-friendly policies and to help businesses comply with complex laws and regulations. The Tri-County Chamber Alliance has a mission to foster collaboration among the region's chambers of commerce and to advocate for policies that promote a friendlier business climate. The alliance represents the Chambers of Commerce who operate in Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties.
The alliance will act as a public policy advocacy group and take action on appropriate regional, state and federal legislation or regulation that impacts the business and economic climates of the tri-county Central Coast region, including issues such as: Economic Development, Infrastructure - including Transportation and Water Quality issues, Workplace Regulations, Taxes and Fees on Business, Workforce Development, and Housing. |
